St. Louis Prosecutor Says She Will No Longer Accept Cases From 28 City Police Officers

"August 30, 2018 ... St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner will no longer accept criminal cases from 28 city police officers and is reviewing their open cases for 'viability'.

Gardner delivered the 'exclusion list' to the police department and in a written statement said, in part, that prosecutors have '...the responsibility to protect the integrity of the criminal justice system...and the credibility of the police is one of the most important attributes of the job...A police officer's word, and the complete veracity of that word, is fundamentally necessary to doing the job. Therefore, any break in trust must be approached with deep concern."

Gardner's predecessor, Jennifer Joyce, similarly refused to take cases from officers when their credibility was in question. Other prosecutors, Brendan Kelly and Bob Haida have also done the same for police actions including but not limited to: botched investigations, mishandling of evidence, reckless use of firearms and criminal conduct.  (Article linked here.)

"Attorney General Janet Mills said she’s concerned with the dramatic rise in the number of people shot to death by Maine law enforcement officers this year but is satisfied with the standards her office uses in deciding whether fatal force was 'justified.'Twice as many people have been fatally shot by Maine police so far this year as in all of 2016 and 2015 combined. The attorney general’s office since 1990 has been in charge of investigating such cases and has never found a shooting unjustified."

Unless now censored, YouTube is and has been replete with videos of police brutality and harassment, and to deny this type of brutality and police action occurs is to deny truth. This does not mean all law enforcement officers are engaged in such actions. After watching several videos it becomes apparent the ubiquitous use by some law enforcement officers of such phrases as: "stop resisting", "he's going for my gun" even when apparent no such behaviors are exhibited by the alleged perpetrator(s). Kudos to all citizens willing to video document and show these police incidents and how LEO in their areas engage the public.

We cannot hope for change without citizens' awareness, documentation, willingness and courage to speak.

Disclaimer: In no way is this post an implication that all police officers/law enforcement officers and/or prosecutors are corrupt. Recognition is given to those LEO and prosecutors who abide by the rule of law and do their best to uphold the laws with humility and earnestness while cognizant of the powers entrusted to them. However, it's also reasonable to agree with the statement that many law enforcement officers, police chiefs and prosecutors are, in fact, fully aware of those LEO operating under the color of law and are, therefore, complicit.

In the microcosm, even small communities such as Brunswick, Maine are no different than Kimberly Gardner's St. Louis. It appears several law enforcement officers, including Chief Rizzo (see previous posts), are well-aware of police fraud and corruption. Could it be these actions remain unaddressed for the simple reason any/all such involved LEOs' cases would require review for "viability" and cause chaos to Maine's judicial system? Time for transparency to be more than just a word.

And it'll take more prosecutors like Kimberly Gardner, Jennifer Joyce, Brendan Kelly, Bob Haida and law enforcement officers stepping up to the plate to clean up this swamp. Much appreciation to Kimberly Gardner and those with the integrity and courage to do so.

George Webb - Investigative Reporter Extraordinaire

Webb uses crowdsource the news methodology to reveal truth in reporting

Crowdsource (aka open source) the news isn't a new concept nor method; it's reporting using public contributors and researchers as a massive resource to discover what Webb refers to as metadata. This metadata includes investigative news reports, documents (including police reports, Congressional letters and reports, Inspector General reports, military documents, etc.). Others very instrumental to the process include whistleblowers, employees and former employees of various governmental agency sources, current law enforcement and former law enforcement officers, attorneys... you get the picture.

Perhaps my first experience with the crowdsource concept was via The Corbett Report. My long absence from Free Brunswick blogspot was, in part, due to my own research, providing research as one of many contributors of crowdsource albeit a very minor part, and also turning research into video YouTube Channel format (C sam YouTube Channel). All of this is done in an effort to combat a very real, vast, insidious propaganda program being pushed upon the American people for many years now (see Operation Mockingbird, Smith-Mundt Act), at least in some way, and in helping others to get the information out. This is part of what Webb refers to as "sunlight and disinfectant". The antidote to Mockingbird Media.

George Webb is unique because of his investigative research abilities coupled with an almost savant-like ability to recall myriad pieces of information and details, recognize patterns and modis operandi, ability to connect the dots, and then succinctly, cohesively report the information to the rest of us. Perhaps the first bubblings of Webb's investigations came from the "Where Is Eric Braverman?" YouTube uploads. All we saw at the beginning was the pointing finger and graphics weaving the information in repetition with Webb's calm, nonjudgmental voice to help solidify the often shocking, maddening truth and the many players involved. As previously said, there's no un-knowing all of this once you understand. Some in Maine, and indeed in Brunswick, are aware of Webb and awake as evidenced by comments to Webb's videos. 

Webb, similar to other whistleblowers, risks his well-being and life in providing daily reports. Why would he do this? Bottom line, when George Webb Swiegert reported on the "Christmas Tree Bomber" in Oregon about a Muslim teen who'd been set-up by the FBI's JTTF, this same "Joint Terrorism Task Force" ostensibly formed to combat terrorism in the U.S. turned reprisal upon Webb. A common tactic of surreptitiously filming a person engaged in sexual acts (under "low light cameras") and using the "documentation" to undermine an individual's reputation, compromise his job, marriage, finances, relationships has been used on many U.S. citizens under harassment programs. It's a systematic program designed to ruin individuals, separate them from support, seize assets, and then "suicide" them. It appears JTTF's McCabe (former FBI now) picked the wrong person this time around. What Americans need to understand is "brownstoning ops" using minors is being increasingly employed with many of our own Congressmen, Senators, etc. being blackmailed. Some of those being blackmailed may have engaged in sexual acts with an adult, were then drugged and the adult partner was replaced with a child. Numerous, but not all of those blackmailed had sex with children. It's my understanding Jeffrey Epstein, convicted pedophile (he never really served jail time, Epstein would report and then be given leave sometimes up to six weeks or more), continues to operate similar low light camera programs, and as previously reported both Bill and Hillary Clinton also have been involved and engaged in sex with minors. No Apologies From Brunswick's Chief Richard Rizzo...Nor Anyone Else? What's Wrong With Our Leaders?

Brunswick's Harmful Facade

Brunswick's a beautiful town of vibrant history, not unlike many small towns across the U.S.A.. Justifiably, many love this town, its history, and people. One can go around life-long superficially cocooned within Brunswick. However, for others once the under belly's revealed one can never "un-know" it and that which once sparkled quickly fades. When window-dressings come down, it's a huge disappointment to say the least, and no Welcome Wagon is going to change that. The red pill moment.







                      





                                

There's a Mystic River quality in Brunswick, particularly in dynamics of connections including blood/family connections.   

"...hairs remain toxic for a year or more, so people still can be affected in subsequent seasons..."

However, the facade's more enchanting here than fictional East Buckingham, and filming location of East Boston. With glowing autumn foliage in tree-lined neighborhoods and the college campus, a towering tribute in an 8-ft. bronze Joshua Chamberlain, Brunswick's a mix of old prestige juxtaposed with a Maine Street of wide "pool table" traffic snarls, an unfortunate number of pedestrian injuries and deaths, horrendous rashes for the unsuspecting as brown tail caterpillar moths' hair float down upon the mall (another story), a beckoning of fabulous shops, and eateries old and new but with woeful lack of parking. Its predominantly blue-collar neighbor, Bath, is hardscrabble, hardworking, unpretentious, and with its elegant Washington Street buildings and houses is also unabashedly proud of its shipbuilding history. Yet Bath's seemingly by far more real, down-to-earth - an antithesis of Brunswick.

Some say author Stephen King had Brunswick in mind when writing It; he'd grown up in adjacent Durham and worked as a janitor for part of one summer in the old Brunswick High School (torn down and replaced, planned obsolescence - yet another story). But for those fully aware of the ugly underneath, it's surely palpable. And just as hideous.

Why do they hate me?
The eminence of local newspaper fame previously mentioned ( Qui Bono? ) appears to believe we - more particularly those in agreement with his points of view - as vastly improved and enlightened since the times of our forefathers and writers of the U.S. Constitution. As evidenced by what's happened to Chaz Wing and thousands of other students across the nation, it's hardly the case.

"Brunswick school officials responded Tuesday to an Associated Press story on sexual assault and bullying in K-12 schools that included an interview with a former student at Brunswick Junior High School who said school officials ignored his accusations of being bullied and sexually assaulted by other students."

"I don't want this to happen to other kids," said his mom, Amy Wing.

"From almost his first day of sixth grade in 2010, kids harassed Chaz about his weight and labeled him as 'gay'...Complaining to teachers and administrators at Brunswick Junior High School did not stop the abuse, he said....The bullying escalated to three bathroom rapes during seventh grade, according to sworn testimony by Chaz and statements he made to police, doctors, a child-abuse specialist and a state investigator. Fearing the bullies' threats, he said, he kept quiet about the sexual violence, sliding into depression and refusing to go to school. Finally, in October 2012, after his mom found him curled up in her bed, he confided through his tears, 'They hurt me.'"

A Nationwide problem

As evidenced by the AP article, it appears a clear case where child-abuse experts and examiners' conclusions went ignored. The AP article and Mark Waltz's statement indicates the school resource officer as investigator - did investigation include Mark Waltz's evaluation, a long-time, experienced BPD sexual assault investigator? Why would a school principal's conclusions carry more weight given he had no experience investigating sexual assaults? And since bullying is known sometimes as a precursor to sexual assault, why was the possibility ignored and then downplayed? BPD's Chief Rizzo, ultimately in charge, pursued no charges; did he and all officers involved also fail to provide reporting to the State's DHS of at least reasonable suspicion of sexual assault of a minor which occurred three times at the school? Lastly, one cannot help but also wonder if kidnapping charges were even considered given Chaz Wing's accounts in the same AP article.

This is more than "disturbing" and no positive changes can occur in a community when adults continually fail to protect minors. Chaz Wing requested an apology and denial of such shows a complete lack of empathy. To Chaz Wing, I'm so sorry this happened to you. Please be well.
